These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website and bookkeeping services (the "Services") provided by NextGen Bookkeeping ("NextGen," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
NextGen provides bookkeeping and related support, which may include transaction categorization, account reconciliation, financial statement preparation, accounts payable and receivable management, cleanup and catch-up work, and consulting. The specific scope is defined by the plan you select and any written engagement between us.
Our Services are bookkeeping services. We are not a law firm, and our work does not constitute tax, legal, audit, or investment advice. We work alongside your CPA or tax professional and recommend you rely on a licensed professional for filing returns and for tax, legal, or financial decisions.
The accuracy of our work depends on the accuracy and completeness of what you provide.
Fees are based on the plan you select and are billed on a flat monthly basis unless otherwise agreed in writing. Pricing shown on our site is a starting point and may vary with the size and complexity of your business. Fees are due as invoiced. Late or failed payments may result in pausing the Services.
Our Services are month-to-month with no long-term contract. Either party may cancel with 30 days' written notice. You are responsible for fees through the end of the notice period. Upon cancellation, we will provide reasonable assistance in handing off your records.
We treat your business and financial information as confidential and use it only to provide the Services, except as required by law. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and design, is owned by or licensed to NextGen and may not be copied or reused without permission. Your financial records and source documents remain yours.
The Services and website are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet a specific outcome.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NextGen will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, arising from or related to the Services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Services in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NextGen from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or from inaccurate or incomplete information you provide.
We rely on third-party tools such as QuickBooks Online and cloud providers. Your use of those tools may be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their performance or availability.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Idaho.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
